Turbobeads is a Swiss nanomagnet production company devoted to the development of stronger, smaller and more realiable reagents. Turbobeads patents create solutions for diagnostics, biochemistry and synthetic organic chemistry. We have been in the business of researching and developing magnetic reagents for over four years.

Turbobeads metal nanomagnets outperform conventional magnetic reagents or nanoparticles in terms of stability, reliable, chemically defined linkers and speed of separation. These advantageous result in markets in diagnostics, biochemical analysis, chemical manufacturing, noble metal processing, MEMS fabrication and water treatment. Future growth and technical evolution will come from global research efforts on metal nanomagnets with chemically defined, “atom by atom” precision surfaces.

Turbobeads development work is undertaken pursuant to the company's exclusive license agreement with ETH Zurich, Switzerland and own IP. Turbobeads nanomagnets are further used in hundreds of laboratories word-wide. Turbobeads strongly supports development work at the ETH and a number of partner universities and holds an exclusive, world-wide license for the use of all metal nanomagnet technology developed at ETH and based on the company's proprietary know how. Turbobeads work at ETH Zurich in the laboratories of Professor Wendelin Stark has won numerous awards and has been the key material in dozens of leading scientific publications.

Turbobeads owns patents and has exclusive license to 2 broad base technology patents. We have patents claiming priority in the field going back to 2005.
